Note: Binky looks like he has an aura because I had to use the "backlight" filter in order to have his features show up at all. The OOTC (out of the camera) picture looks like silhouette. For once, Raquel's eyes actually showed up without having to edit the picture at all. Black cats are VERY hard to photograph! Huber & Clovis, on the other hand, are easy (and usually irresistable!).

Birthdays

The darlings arrived in July of 2009 and the vet thought they were each around 10 weeks old, which makes their birthdays sometime around now. Last night we went out with the couple that brought us Raquel, so we made it a birthday party. Since the guest of honor couldn't make it, we printed out this picture of her and took it to the restaurant in a frame! The waitress was a cat-lover, so when she brought me dessert, she had written "Happy Birthday Raquel" in chocolate syrup around the rim of the plate! Nice to know we're not alone in our feline goofiness.

Easter Morning

Happy Thanksgiving from Clovis and Raquel

I have yet to take a photo of Raquel that does her justice. That's one reason why learning more about photography is on my list of goals for 2010. Meanwhile, these shots of Raquel were taken yesterday, and the ones of Clovis were taken on 11-21. Raquel is now 8 lbs. 8 oz. and Clovis is now 7 lbs. 10 oz. They continue to be sweet and affectionate.
